No need to be an expert in aromatherapy to choose the right ingredient for the fizzes, just decide which aroma you prefer, or what kind of effect you want your bomb to have on your mind and body.
Here is a simple recipe to make a basic bath bomb, after a while and with more practice, you can customize this recipe and create a formula of your own.
- 4 oz. baking soda
- 2 oz. cornstarch
- 2 oz. epsom salt
- 2 oz. citric acid
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 tsp. water
- 1 tsp. food color
- 1 tsp. essential oil
- Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Mix all wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Add the wet mix to the dry mix, and mix all together.
- Put the mix in a plastic mold, or mold it by hand.
- Let it dry for approximately 6-8 hours.
- After they harden, they are ready to use. Enjoy!!
